The hardware of the PS4 shown off today at the conference. Admittedly I was concerned about the controller rumours but it’s looking damn fine. Also, the specs sounds like a developer’s dream. Gone are the days of the mass Cell-chip confusion.

I’m not tagging everything I can think of, I’m not a desperate fool, nor am I a 12 year old hipster. Let me explain the tagging system for your angry soul. First tag is Gaming, a featured tag that directs gamers of all walks to my posts if they so choose to view all tags posting ‘Gaming’. There are console specific tags, game specific tags, series specific tags. There are also page tags for the site e.g. PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo, Mobile and PC. Video Games is also another tag. I don’t care about getting notes or looking desperate in your eyes. I care about getting gaming related content out to as wide of an audience as possible. Journalism isn’t a popularity contest. I could whore out my posts and note scavenge all I like by posting only the most interesting things. I post news, boring or interesting. Journalism is about the spreading of information, it’s not merely an entertainment source.
P.S - if you’re that concerned about the tags, you’re obviously not bothered about the content which both upsets me and worries me.

Perhaps if they didn’t go anon, a proper discussion could be had. The site posts news. Unfortunately not every news story can be told by a trailer or pictures. I also don’t care if you unfollow me. It pleases me that someone that doesn’t like what is posted doesn’t follow. If everyone agreed with your opinion, I would have 0 followers, which I don’t. I’m not trying to force you to do anything either.
As for notes, I really don’t care how many notes I get. I’m not a notes whore. I want news to be read and understood. If that drives 0 notes, so be it. Journalism isn’t about egos or getting the most views for something, it’s about telling a story. That’s something I will continue to do.
